All the seashells that I use for earrings and necklaces have been cleaned in a bleach/water mixture. I then brush them lightly with baby oil and rub it in - which helps them retain their natural shine. 

If the shells on your necklace or earrings start to look dried out, just gently brush on some mineral oil or baby oil and rub in!
